The story of Metal Gear starts with snake and his friends returning to America after a successful mission. But something follows Snake and that is amnesia. Snake forgets his past and hopes to regain his memory power on returning to known places. But he is taken by shock when a man posing as an FBI agent arrests him and asks him to complete a mission in exchange for his loyal friends. Snake is entrusted with the task of finding evidence against the wicked scientist, who is using his weapons to takeover the government. The story of Metal Gear Acid 2 is much more interesting than the previous Metal Gear. Now Snake has to fight some dangerous bosses and unravel the mystery encircling his past.
The story is narrated through textual messages and the characters are described accordingly. The style of narration adapted deserves special mention. One of the most exciting features of Metal Gear Acid 2 is the solid eye mode. The solid eye mode is nothing but playing the game in 3D mode. This can be done by attaching the solid eye device to your PSP. It is easy to switch between solid eye mode and the regular mode. If you like to know how a particular area or boss will look in 3D mode, it is very simple to change the mode of the game. There are many unlockable movies in solid mode concerning the Metal Gear series.
The game-play of this game is very simple where the players have to collect cards, create decks and battle it out against the enemies. Using these cards the players can perform actions like attack, heal, etc. Only few actions can be played by each character so make the best use of it. There are cards which may decrease your costs as well as the actions. There are many types of cards like the movement cards, traps, weapons, link cards, etc so use them wisely to win the game. Players will be awarded cards after each battle and if you have sufficient points you can even purchase them in the card shop. So start collecting these cards by winning battles and help Snake regain his memory.
