With so many dungeons based games already flooding the PSP, there is yet another on offer and that is the Dungeons and Dragons series named the Dungeons and Dragons Tactics.

The game has a very promising start and is sure to enthral hardcore fans of Dungeons and Dragons. The music is very melodious and soul stirring while the title screen exhibits a moody atmosphere and is dark providing all the eeriness and elements of surprise that one loves so much in these games. The game from Kuju Entertainment opens into the main menu where you have eight options to choose from, and various ways to begin playing your game. Press the ‘Quick Start’ button and get into instant action with pre generated characters of the party.

Every party in the game consists of a single hero, who is in total control of the story. Generate your very own hero manually. Choose the gender, race and then the class. Then you need to allocate individual points to your character and that determines how well your characters react to others around them.

Then you select your skills from a range of twenty five options available and help boost your skills using the points. You can select feats of your choice and finally you get to choose your character’s portrait. Now you are set to play the game with your chosen character. When you choose your own character, you get the opportunity to learn about the game and how to use your various skills better at every turn of events.

The game has some shortcomings and beginners have to work very hard so they can get the most of the game. There are rule sets that players are required to follow and players would have to pour over rulebooks to determine whether the Orc has really killed the Human. The Dungeons & Dragons Tactics PSP version seems to be a slow game as the progress through the game seems erratic. It has great graphics and excellent sound The PlayStation Portable Dungeons and Dragons game is fun and exciting to play with friends on the multi player mode. Enjoy hours of fun with Dungeons and Dragons on your favourite PlayStation Portable.
