A rollicking, roller coaster ride of mythical adventures and legendary folktales Indiana Jones has probably been the most successful adventure franchise that has been able to captivate the audience. It would have been impossible not to make a game out of this extremely popular plot. Developed by Lucasarts this game takes off right after the earlier version Indian Jones and the Infernal machine. Updated graphics, improved control and detailed environments coupled with the captivating storyline that zips you across the globe in a whirlwind quest Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is the latest game from Lucasarts to hit the PSP.

The story is set in the year 1939 when the World War II begins and is set 18 years prior to the happenings in the Kingdom of the Crystal skull. The plot revolves around the legendary archaeologist/adventurer who is on a quest to locate the staff of Moses. Indiana moves from Chinatown in San Francisco to the exotic jungles of the Panamas and battles enemies who are out to thwart his search for the staff. An elephant chase and a fight on top of the cable car are some of the peak action points in the game. The developers have utilised a newly developed Euphoria game engine. This new animation engine allows the game to move beyond the ordinary as it ensures that all the characters never have the same reaction, all the enemies put in the game think on their own and all the objects used display their own distinctive textures and quality. Indiana Jones and the Staff of the Kings PSP features a variety of new concepts like a highly interactive environment, lots of challenges that allow you to unlock adventures like a biplane combat with your friends in the cooperative mode and trademark escape to save your life moments.

The game was slated for release in 2007 but due to the fact that the Star Wars: the Force Unleashed (uses the same engine) was focused upon it was put on the backburner for a while. All set to hit the stands in all formats on the 12th of June it incorporates highly stylistic features that are bound to amaze you and fill you with an exhilarating rush.
