Sonic and Mario are indeed two prolific athletes. They dominate everywhere they go. Be it the Summer Olympics at Beijing in 2008 or tracking, these two make a name everywhere. When Sony takes a decision to develop a game for the PlayStation Portable called International Athletics, these two protagonists become an automatic choice. The game is quite exciting because of its multiplayer facility and scores highly amongst enthusiasts. The International Athletics for the PSP is fabricated to cover multiple events with them ranging from swimming to running and shooting to jumping. Playing the game would be a delight for those who love athletics and watch them on television. When the gamer takes his console in hand, he would find it really hard to put it down.

The gamer is required to navigate continuously between the Left and Right buttons that will help him in inflating speed and power. After this, in the International Athletics PSP game the gamer selects an angle that strikes similarity to the X button or the D-Pad. Out of all the events, the gamer will find the sprinting event to be the easiest while the pole vaulting one might be a little complex. This is because the event asks the gamer to use the D-pad so that the leap can be timed from the pole. The X button is used to curve the back of the gamer. All the complexities will fade away when the gamer starts playing. The visuals are good and the gamer will have a good time playing the game. It becomes a more enjoyable process if played with friends as the multiplayer mode makes it possible.
