Slitherine Software is an independent UK developer and publisher who launched the Slitherine Strategies in 2002 and hence forth providing the gaming world with various strategy games. It is the first of high level strategy game introduced to the PlayStation Portable. The game was released on March 20, 2009.

The game Military History – Commander Europe at War is based on the Second World War. The gamer can easily control the axis power and the allied forces through out the entire war. There’s this huge campaign map that covers USA, Africa, Scandinavia and Ural which provides the gamer to plan his game strategically and experience the historical event of the Second World War.
There are 6 epic scenarios which also includes the operation Barbarossa, D-Day and the Grand Campaign. There are also 12 different unit types which include the Infantry and Motorized Corps, Armour, Destroyers, Subs, Carriers, etc. each of which have their own strength and weakness for the gamer to utilize to plan his strategy and win the war. The gamer can also recruit and attach historical Commanders to their unit so as to bring a realistic scenario to the game. All-in-all Military History – Commander Europe at War is an impulse buy for the gamers.
