After a year, the next edition to the Naruto universe is being released. We should really expect an entirely new game behind the name “Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2”, right?
Unfortunately, this will not be the case as the changes over the predecessor model are essentially limited. The newest video below gives a nice overview of what to expect.
Almost nothing has been changed graphically and even in terms of gameplay, it seems the game is based on old and proven methods. Of course, there are some changes to report. The story mode named “Mujengo” is new. Moreover, a Japanese voice has been included. But altogether, those are really changes which we could live without.
So anyone who isn’t a hardcore Naruto fan and already played the last edition, can likely spare themselves from purchasing the sequel. Although the developer might always institute a few more changes in the game to make it more worthwhile. At least we can hope so.
