PSP can read, not just play games

We can’t stress enough the fact that PSP is very versatile and then some. There are innumerable things you can do with your PSP (We haven’t even started talking about the millions of available hacks). Did you know that you can use your PSP to read documents of all kinds – PDF, word, excel sheets, etc?

Loading these file-formats on to your PSP and reading isn’t a big deal and thousands of PSP users have been doing it. We now have a community of users who have made it their goal to have works of literature and all other content available for download onto your PSP. Thankfully they have undertaken this work, because it is kind of overwhelming and a tad irritating to scour these books and transfer them on your own.

http://psp.manybooks.net, for example, has simplified the process of hunting for literature, ebooks and other material for downloading onto your PSP. With over 14,000 classic works and other files set up for download, it is nothing short of humongous and perhaps you will never fall short of things to do or read again. The site is really kept simple and made easily navigable by categories, user recommendations, most popular downloads, languages, titles and authors.

However, not all files are easily downloadable on to your PSP and the PSP community is never sitting on problems like these. There is already a way to turn your .txt and .rtf files into easily viewable media. All of the process is explained by some really cool flash tutorials that makes the learning process foolproof.

So the Sony PSP doesn’t really spoil you, does it? It sings to you, teaches you; reads with you; browses the web for you – now you know why it is still a hot favorite.
