The PSP is roaring like never before and keeps ringing these bells of new milestones — whether by the virtue of some kind of miracle or due to the fact that one of their games seems to have reached the point of no return.
The Japanese game Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is on a winning streak with an unbelieving, and relentless show of sales from the time of its launch. It has now crossed the 2 million mark and is showing no signs of abating. Of course, we have our Grand Theft Auto, which is also busy making money and breaking records – but this Japanese game is exclusively and only available for the PSP.
Are there chances that this game is hyped, lacks substance and moves with a false momentum? There have been some comments that the game has a lot to do with the performance of the others in the multiplayer mode there are some who don’t really buy the hype.
There have been some interesting view points about how the Japanese have different tastes and the success might not ring any bells in the US or UK.
Although the game has received mixed reactions from different people, most others are generally euphoric about the game. I loved it myself when I did try my hand on this one and it really isn’t an arcade game. It is arduous; it will test your skills and you will be hooked nonetheless.
