Our beloved PSP portable always gives us surprises. Not only by launching brand new companions in the forms of accessories, but also with its exciting games. There’s a title available in PSP which is damn exhilarating. We are talking about the title Death Jr. II: Root of Evil.

The game might not be the most spectacular and thrilling thing on the market, but it nonetheless possesses some attention grabbing and unique aspects. There’s also a comic series which is based on the characters involved in the game. Death Jr. 2 - Root of Evil (PSP) begins in a situation where a giant female creature named Furi, whose motive is to take over the world, captures Death Sr. Then attention turns Death Sr. and his beloved girlfriend (Pandora), who have accidentally broken the Cocon of Furi. They are actually aware of the fact that their mistake will make sudden changes to the world. That’s why set off to right their wrong with the help of their wacky friends.

In the beginning (in PSP version) you have to decide whether you want to play as Death Jr. or Pandora as once you start you cannot switch characters. If your friend also possesses the game, then you can play cooperatively as co-op play is supported. Most of the action and movements of both Death Jr. and Pandora are quite similar. Both can utilize their weapons to swing from hooks and can also use them as zip lines. One thing which is not admirable is that the guns are weak and difficult to aim. There’s also an auto aim option but it’s poorly implemented. But the graphics are WOW… as most of the levels are creatively designed which give a pulsating feel to the gamer. These excellent graphics are accompanied by a complementary audio which is awesome and suits the game environment perfectly. If you are looking for something new then it’s worth taking a look at this title, otherwise there are better games out there.
