Most racing games, even fantasy oriented ones, at least use fully sized cars. But have you ever imagined a title containing diminutive and tiny vehicles competing against each other? Well this concept has been introduced by Micro Machines V4.

The game doesn’t include fast paced cars at speeds of 300km/hour. Instead it features miniature collectible cars struggling for the first position. The title delivers a lot more compared to previous versions. Micro Machines V4 offers better and more advanced options and features, such as upgraded weapons, more tracks, and several brand new cars.

The most unbelievable aspect of the title is its huge selection of collectable miniature cars, which currently stands at around 750. A user can get a chance to collect 750 cars which are transferable from the PSP Lite to the PS2 version. The diminutive vehicles in Micro Machines V4 are categorized into 25 distinct classes, including concept cars, muscle cars, and gas guzzlers, for example. These miniature vehicles become collectable after the completion of more than 75 single player challenges. If you want to choose a car then you can visit the garage before participating in the much awaited race. Every vehicle has ratings for velocity, acceleration, grip, and even weight. Many of the car tracks are often slippery, which adds to the game’s difficulty. One will enjoy three different racing modes in Micro Machines V4. These three modes include the battle race, standard three lap races and check point races. In the battle race you can earn points by leaving the opponents behind. On the other hand, in the checkpoint races, before the time runs out you have to make it to the check point. The designing of the tracks is excellent and grabs your attention while playing.
