Cuteness is always fun and that’s just another reason why you cannot ignore Worms: Open Warfare 2. The graphics of the title are very admirable, as it includes cutely animated characters accompanied by a bright, attractive and vibrant background.
You must have played the original worms, but this one has numerous upgrades and is even more exciting than its prequel. Worms: Open Warfare 2 includes lavishing 3 dimensional graphics and very cleverly developed gameplay. A player will get a chance to command a pack of four worms. You will get to use a large number of weapons in the game that are rarely even found in any other title, like the concrete monkey, for instance. There are some ridiculously developed pieces of weaponry such as the explosive buffaloes of lies.
Worms: Open Warfare 2 is already very charming thanks to the worms involved, but these unconventional weapons turn the game into the ultimate fun experience. There are several impressive options available to choose from in the single player mode.
Without challenges the game appears dull and uninteresting, but Worms: Open Warfare 2 offers more than enough challenges and variety. It includes campaigns which take you and your friend worms through different cumbersome and challenging scenarios. Breaching the clichéd aspect of simply destroy your enemy, one mode instead only gives you a limited arsenal and you don’t even have to destroy all the enemies to complete it.
The intelligently designed graphics make the game even more interesting and hold the gamers attention. Another scenario is the simple time attack mode in which the task is to reach the destination (exit point) as early as possible.
The best part of the game is the unpredictability of the computerized opponents and replay value. Its customization options allow players to create their own team to add another dimension of fun to the title. You can also name your team, or individual worm, add your own voice samples, and write your own tombstones. One can even decide their team fort, color, flag and winning dance. All these supplementary but exciting attributes adds to the overall level of enjoyment. Worms is a truly fun, excellent and addicting game that no PSP owner should be without.
