PSP’s Battlezone is a multiplayer task combat game. If you are a combat enthusiast this is the game for you. It is enjoyable and exciting, even though it may be a little short in duration.
The game depends on your skills in hitting the fire button as fast as you can. The storyline involves a NATO skills competition. This competition is all about hover tanks, which is somewhat like a Top Gun. All you have to do is to keep shooting missiles and blowing up tanks either attacking or self-defence mode.
There are a variety of contests in the single player mode. As you compete and end up in the top three ranks you will be led on to access new tanks, tweaks or upgrades for your existing tanks, and deadlier weapons.
Weapons are upgraded to mines, fusion rifles, swarm missiles, sniper cannons and rail guns. By opting for tweaks you can fine tune your tank and upgrade it for better and more efficient performance.
This interesting battle game features events which take place in several exciting locations. Locations are mostly enclosed like the barren mesa in New Mexico, an Aztec temple in Buenos Aires, a frozen tomb in Antarctica, a missile silo in Russia, etc..
There are six different types of game. Even if competitors are fewer in number this game provides the player with a fascinating experience. Training is not provided at any stage, and therefore you have to learn by trial and error – a feature that makes the game all the more challenging.
You have the option of customizing a map from the PSP website, upload it to your PSP for multiplayer mode. This unique option enables you to share your excitement with one or more of your co-enthusiasts.
Strong tanks are a distinguishing feature of this entertaining game. User-friendly controls make it all the more exciting shooting at targets and firing missiles. Battle away to glory with the help of the PSP Battlezone.
