Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection

The word Pinball takes you on a wonderful trip down memory lane. The pinball hall of fame adds three more tables, which are very distinct from one another, to its already existing collection of tables. Each table is from a different era. This game can be played from six different camera angles, completely dependent on the player’s discretion or selection. This game of pinball is a combination of time and physics. Time clearly depends on the skills of the player. The physics here is the force with which the ball should be hit by the flippers, and totally depends on the weight of the ball.

The oldest table in this game is Play Boy from 1932, which basically resembles a slot machine. When the plunger is pulled, the only ball you are allowed to play with should get stuck in one of the holes while moving down the drain. Gradually as Gottlieb Pinball Classics progresses, the flippers are invented in the Aces High – the 1957 table. Eventually as the goals are met, the game gets ramped up to the next level. The gimmick of the game is the Black Hole – the 1981 table which can be described as a table-within-a- table. It is a very freaky setup, where, beneath the main table, there is an inset area under glass; which is further positioned in the opposite direction so that the flippers are on the top and the ball appears to roll backwards.

An outright effort has been made to make pinball different at all progressive levels. Tables at no two levels have similar features. There is always some addition to the previous one. Goin Nuts, the 1983 table, is a time based game with multiple balls being used at the same time. The timer stops ticking at the last ball.

All in all, it can be said that Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gotllieb Collection is a terrific package for the PSP. At all progressive levels this game offers you with distinct servings of fun and excitement. It is just perfect for playing in small sessions say, five minutes or the break time in-between your important jobs.
