Frontier’s latest creation for the gaming lovers is called “Thrillville” and lets the player be a part of the theme park building management. As a gamer you must have experienced a similar game made for kids and known as Roller Coaster Tycoon.
This title includes several elements of a business management simulation and an amusement park builder, but is also made up of minigames which constitute a significant portion of the game. The player can play up to 20 mini-games, which can be unlocked by playing through certain portions of the single player mode. The player can easily locate an excellent variety of minigames but the most popular and exciting are likely the shooter games.
In the single player mode you can actually contextualize the involved minigames into a story. This time you’ll begin with the game with only one park and later unlock up to five parks. As you unlock new stages and theme parks, the difficulty gets progressively greater. Thrillville (PSP) is an amusement park oriented game, but it takes a different approach than the extremely popular Roller Coaster Tycoon. While this other approach isn’t necessarily bad, it does mean that fans of the Tycoon series won’t necessarily be won over by this title. Nonetheless, fans of amusement park type games will definitely have a fun time with this game.
