Chameleon is a fast-paced puzzle game that is totally based on strategic thinking. As we all know, chameleons are amazing creatures with the unique ability to commingle almost inconspicuously with their surroundings in order to evade predators. Similarly, the player can adopt a survival strategy based on the Chameleon’s unique ability. The player has to match the colors on the field and dominate the entire board with his choice of color. He then has to overshadow his competitor by using the skills of a true chameleon.
It is quite clear that no two puzzles in this game can ever be similar as this game involves the total use of strategic thinking, which is unique for every individual. It’s also structured differently than a brain teaser like Hot Brain (PSP). In Chameleon there is a lot of multicolored adventure and the player has the flexibility to play as any of the four characters, each with unique abilities. As the player keeps on progressing up the levels, a lot of bonus characters keep getting unlocked.
It is very important that the player be very quick and spontaneous in all his thinking and reactions. This game also features a lot of multiplayer levels, including the king mode, where the player has to overtake his rival. Another multiplayer mode is the goal mode, where one player has to beat the other in a race towards the flag. Every time this game is played, it offers a unique and all new experience. There is no set pattern or sequence for the puzzles in the game to follow; as all the puzzles are continuously randomly generated throughout the game.
Chameleon is a puzzle game that may look quite simple but involves a lot of strategic thinking. The player has to be quite spontaneous in his moves in order to dominate or overtake the challenger. It can be played with either one or two players. Altogether, it’s a very reasonably priced game with a lot of multicolored fun and adventure.
