Popolocrois: A Charismatic Adventure

As a charming RPG, Popolocrois is a game to be enjoyed by all and at all times. Published by Agetec and developed by G-Artists, this adventure game is based on a funny and wacky theme. The great art work and amiable characters that make up the simple gameplay are quite welcoming. You can also call this PSP game an interesting amalgamation of two previous games in the series.

The story revolves around the 10-year old Prince Pietro, whose adventure is aimed at releasing his mother from an evil spell. This spell has sent his mother to a state of eternal sleep. In his quest to bring back his mother, the brave little prince comes across a witch called Narcia, along with some other folks. Jointly, these people make a team to fight hurdles in the form of hazardous creatures they encounter on their journey. In the beginning of the game Pietro is only 10, but by the end of the game, he turns 15. Now, the Prince needs to defeat an ominous demon to free his mother, whose soul is shut in a dark world. This was all about the first half of Popolocrois (PSP). The second half features a 15 year old Pietro, struggling to save his father from the evil brute that is a great threat to the entire kingdom. The simple and smooth flow of the game allows you to play the game over a longer period, say a week or even a month. The gameplay is equally simple: first initiating missions and then working for their achievement.

The delightful presentation of the game offers the feel of going through a children’s story book. It is a perfect game for anyone wishing to enter the RPG world, on account of its uncomplicated and interactive mode. Apart from the audio portion, the sound is also pretty commendable, and it compliments the overall effect of Pietro’s story. The game proves that simplicity blended with wit can do wonders.
