SSX On Tour is a fast paced game which provides entertainment and fun all the way. With responsive controls and an interesting mix of the old and new in the soundtrack, this is a must have game for game lovers. There are so many events you can take part in that you hardly have time to think in between exciting experiences. The fourth edition of this PSP game is sure to floor players all over again.
This console version sports an artistic feel. The black and white sketches, which display the menu, look fascinating. Free spirited fun is unleashed with exciting grinding skeletons, UFOs, dragons bursting from snowy peaks looking positively sinister, cats which snowboard, etc. Skiing is a welcome addition in this latest version of the SSX on Tour which has retained most of the key components of the game.
The single player mode game play is conventional and requires you to unlock various events on your way. With each achievement you get to earn exciting medal rewards, including bronze, silver and gold. The ski and snowboard type events in SSX On Tour (PSP) are divided into big air, race and slope style. Exciting races include those against opponents controlled by intelligence or against the clock, which is pre set.
As you race down the slopes you have the option of nailing tricks, which provides you with unending challenges and fun. Show off your grabs as you compete in the big air events. Variety is offered by the different modes that you must adapt to for various event styles. As you go through the tour mode winning medals, you can spring on to the leader board to check your stats on how far you have progressed in the game. Certain events upon successful completion offer your character interesting and fun equipment and outfits, which can help you attain access to intricate tricks, stability, edging and acceleration.
The easy to use controls make the On Tour absolutely enjoyable. All you have to do is to move the directional pad or the left analogue stick to steer your snowboarder. The combination of face buttons and d-pad triggers allow you to pull off impressive tricks.
SSX on Tour is one of the most exciting and fast paced game you can enjoy on your PSP for hours with your family and friends or even all by yourself.
