Resembling the Vs system which is one of Upper Deck’s most flexible, solid and robust systems, Marvel’s licensed TCG packs some of the most interesting and exciting features in its online representation which has been witnessing a multitude of activities.
For those who are not very experienced in similar TCG games earlier, this game may be a bit confusing at first glance. As you venture into playing this game, you will realize that this is b other with uniquely characterized cards. Cards are the arms with which they attack and try to deased on a whole lot of strategies. Played between two players, each player is required to attack thefeat each other until one of the players finds his or her points completely depleted.
There are different categories like equipment, twists in plot, characters and locations the cards are divided into. The main category character cards are used to attack opponents and the others are used as enhancements to aid characters in their battle by providing them with abilities.
Twists in the plots add to the excitement and challenge as you can use this option to perform various effects like forcing your opponent to discard his cards by buffing up the character cards. You can also create a host of fortune reversals during a single character clash by chaining plots twists together. As you start playing and learning the nuances of the game, you find yourself rooted to your place not wanting to give up at any stage.
Of course, luck plays a major role here as cards are draw at random from the deck. But strategy plays a major role too. Choosing the character you want to play with their different defense rating and attacks and placing them at the right place on the field plays an important role in your success.
It takes a little time and perseverance to get a hang of this game, but once you know how to go about it, no one can wean you away from the Marvel Trading Card Game and your favorite PSP.
