The original Worms 2D series was very successful and an effort to replicate that success has been on for many years now. Finally, the Worms: Open Warfare has been made for the Playstation Portable that has brought relief to a lot of faces. The game has followed the typical genre of characteristic gameplay and the designs of the game perfectly fit the PlayStation Portable. The strategy that has gone into the making of the game is very simple to make the game look uncomplicated. The moves are simple as there are no trees, no gathering of resources and no issues regarding unit balance. The gamer will find worms on the big rock which keep taking turns to annihilate the other. The gamer will have his team of four worms battling three other teams and will have to eat into their energy levels to annihilate them.
The worms are very cute and shout grunts while battling. There are a lot of weapons to which the worms have access to. These weapons range from hand grenades to shotguns and exploding sheep to bananas. There are 20 distinct weapons to be used and the protagonists have a lot to do in the Worms: Open Warfare PSP game. Some opponents might not operate generally but will start working when your worm is facing his foe. The battlefields seem to be pretty huge and can be quite unnerving. The Worms game is good for those who believe in playing light games and will be quite entertaining. It has been reasonably priced and will be very exciting to play.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress is the second game in the series for the PlayStation Portable. It is a casual fighting game. It may just as well be a revamped version of its predecessor, and while it still has its own share of problems, you’ll find Phantom Fortress to be more entertaining, and considerably longer.
For those who aren’t familiar with the series, here are the basics. Phantom Fortress, like it’s predecessor, works on two 2- dimensional planes, one with the foreground and one with the background environments. So even though the environments and characters are 3D, deep down, the game is still a 2D fighter.
The gameplay is relatively simple, as all attacks accessible with the circle button, and combos are executed with the added directional input, and maybe a couple more button presses. Standard to most Naruto titles, each character in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 PSP has a Chakra bar, in addition to a health bar, which determines how many and what level of jutsus, or techniques, you can deploy. The player can also use items during fights.
The battles can be quite easy for most of the gaming enthusiasts who just want to have a good Naruto experience, as all attacks involve button bashing the circle button. However, one can get a lot more out of the game by actually using the items and advanced controls.
The story line has been extended a bit to do justice to the game’s title, by adding a new mode known as the Mugenjo mode. In this arc, Naruto is thrown into a fortress known, obviously, as the Phantom Fortress, which sucks life out of everything around it. Having that appear about the Hidden Leaf Village poses an obvious problem, so Naruto is faced with the task of getting rid of it.
The mode takes you back to the days of Dungeon crawling, moving your character’s icon between rooms, facing enemies and completing mini-games. A number of different scrolls activate different game types as well. There are tons of other goodies to unlock during the game, like artwork and songs and other stuff, making the games overall experience an enjoyable one.

Ikki Tousen: Eloquent First is an action game, where you basically play to lead. It is a new PSP game, developed by Marvelous Interactive, which is based on a challenging theme. The game features around 15 characters or more specifically fighters, who are all struggling hard to show their power.
To compliment and contrast with the standard powerful and well-built fighters, the game features a handful of lithe and young high school girls. As it is side scrolling game, you can enter the shoes of your preferred character to defeat the rivals. You can choose to be either Kanu or Ryomou, or one of four fighters, secretly tucked away behind the silhouettes. You will control the fighters all around the roads of Tokyo and even beyond that. To add to the game’s superpower effect to the game, some characters are supposedly instilled with the early warriors’ spirits.
Fighting in and out, the game requires the players to cross one level after the other. This is actually essential for the players to move to another level while defeating all those that cross your path. Here, you can make great use of the various buttons: one for the standard attack and another for the special pack. However, the result of the special attack button will vary, depending on the character you choose, and it will always be something really explosive. Although it is not incorrect to consider it a 2D game, the depth of field in some areas gives it an enhanced scope.
The look of the characters is also among the most discussed issues surrounding Ikki Tousen: Eloquent First. The animation is reminiscent of typical Japanese anime found in games like Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, but with much more of a manga element. Most of the school goers look like actual warriors, with clear signs of rage and anger on their faces. But a long fight is tedious enough to take away the energy of even the most dominant fighters, so the streets will also show some instant energizers to bring you back in the form. In addition, there are some vending machines and oil drums along with the recycling bins to clutter the streets. All this is meant to make the play much more interesting for you and to let you to collect maximum points.
