Posted on May 26, 2009 05:30:41 PM

Mega Man Legends is a game that has averted the chance from jumping from 2D technology to 3D technology. This has happened courtesy the implementation of RPG technology. The developer Capcom did come out with a lot of mindless sequels, but now it seems like they have finally hit the bulls-eye with the new game that has captured the attention of gamers all throughout.

This game was touted to be a real eye turner and has proved out to be one. The way the game commences, finishes and is played shows that it easily gets into the 2D mode better than any one. The surprising element is that the game has been in the gaming market for over a decade but could never make an impression. With some change in features and in interface, the MegaMan Legends PSP version has certainly done something which no other game could do. The blue buddy is the main protagonist who is controlled by the gamer with the character being navigated through a 3D world full of extensive landscapes and inherited towns. Blue buddy has suitable company in the form of Roll, his sister, Barrel the Grandpa and Data the adorable monkey.

There is a huge assortment of armaments which the Mega Man can make use of apart from jumping, kicking, diving and retaliating. The character can also be given external additions like the buster arms, rapid fire and increase in energy. Mega Man Legends certainly has shown a lot of variations in the past couple of editions. The PlayStation Portable game is reasonably priced and should be played because of its sheer entertaining capability.

Enter the entertaining Kula World on the PSP

Posted on Nov 12, 2008 03:47:16 PM

Worth the price is what comes to the mind as you start playing the fun and entertaining Kula World. The execution and concept is so simple that it is still as relevant as the first ever edition.

A puzzler based on 3D platform with extremely mean and complex mazes. Indeed, as a 3D game, it is much more intricate and far different from more traditional puzzle games like Koloomn. As a kula ball, you are not allowed to bounce around naturally and are trapped in these mazes. You enjoy getting entangled in those most complex geometrical mazes which is as thrilling as it is a nightmare.

As you begin the game, you realize there is a lot of challenge around. This includes collecting coins, fruits and various keys which can open exits. You have to skillfully navigate through suddenly opening and disintegrating platforms, petrol fumes that arise from pills and a drastically reducing time limit fuelled by the hourglass.

Non linear puzzles can be created on simple 3D space governed by neat and uncomplicated rules. This ingenious system is extremely challenging providing oblique solutions too. In fact, most of the time, you are left wondering as to how the hell did I miss this solution. It was staring at my face all the time!

Just when you pull your hair in frustration and decide on giving up, Kula World offers you the solution, which is of course most of the time simple but elusive rekindling your interest and boosting your confidence. Arcade and Time trail are the two modes you can play. Time trial and Copy Cat modes are two player modes which provide you with hours of fun and excitement.

As you collect your bonus levels, you add in some extra fun. Interesting background changes and subtle skin of the Kula World keeps the mood high even in a simple game of a beach ball puzzle.

Enjoy hours of fun playing with your friends on the two player mode. This is in fact a game that is exciting and interesting as with all puzzle games and the entire family can experience hours of excitement on your favorite PSP. You cannot keep the children away from this game for sure.

Posted on Oct 24, 2008 03:02:59 PM

The much loved game of Bubble Bobble evolution is here for the Sony PSP. This version is perfect for those who love puzzle games. A couple of cute little dinosaurs add in a dash of fun.

Bubble Bobble Evolution is all about the two boys Bob and Bub, who are draped in dragon costumes and all the action is set in the 18th century London. Bub and Bob are lost and separated as they find themselves on the ground floor of two towers resembling a maze. In Bubble Bobble Evolution (PSP) you will be guiding them around as they try to find their way out. The whole exercise is challenging enough as you will be running back and forth between both towers while helping both of them climb the right way.

As you go from one level to another, you will be required to capture enemies along the way. This is done with the help of the bubbles that you spit out. After first capturing your enemies in the bubbles, you must then simply pop the bubbles to be rid of them. The whole fascinating and exciting process will provide you with unlimited hours of fun.

The elevator doors are integrated with puzzles based on the switches. Once you solve the puzzle, the door open to take you to the next level. The obstacles on your way can be broken down with the help of electricity and fire that you can capture with the bubbles.

The way in which the game has been integrated with 3D provides for some added excitement. The floors are circular in shape and split into three wedges resembling a pie. A key gameplay element includes the exciting manner in which you can use the vents and doors in the floors to transport bubbles to the next level. While you navigate bubbles through levels, you are required to overcome the challenge of confronting air currents, along with the enemies.

With excellent graphics and music Bubble Bobble Evolution is sure to keep players on their edge with exciting situations and confrontations. What with all the puzzles to solve and the bubbles to pop, every step is an awesome experience.
