Everybody knows Pac Man. He’s the little yellow ball that made video game history. PacMan has topped the gaming charts for ages, and is still considered one of the best games. There have been many spin offs such as Mrs. PacMan, Jr. Pac Man, etc.
Namco Bandai, the guys who brought you games like Pac Man world, and the likes, has announced that Pac Man World Rally is all set for release for the PS2, Game Cube, PC and PSP.
Pac Man World Rally is being developed by Smart Bomb interactive, and it is a kart racing game, featuring characters such as Pac Man, Jr. Pac Man, Mrs. Pac Man and also some cross title characters like the prince from Katamari, and let’s not forget our beloved Pac Man world villains, Spooky, Toc Man and Erwin, also featuring a brand new villain, Pac Devil. These are among the fifteen available playable characters in Pac Man World Rally. The title will have some vibrant stages with unique power ups and different attacks, in what might be the most exciting racer from the Pac Man universe.
The game is expected to be absolutely fantastic, with great tracks where players can compete either against each other or against the computer as one among many characters from the Namco Bandai universe; in fact some even expect it to become one of those truly legendary race car games. The game has a battle mode, where players face off against each other, racing and fighting all at the same time, with weapons that haven’t been seen in any kart racer before.
There’s also ways to eliminate your competition. Ways that you never would have expected, such as the Pac Mobile. If you gobble enough Pac Dots, you will turn into a giant Pac Mobile, no matter which character you are, and you can eat up your competition. There are also tons of shortcuts in all the tracks, for you to outwit and out run your opponents.
Pac Man world Rally has some great features, which are much needed for kart games. One can only wait and see if Pac Man World Rally lives up to it’s name.

Role playing games have always been a successful category among the PSP range. Yet another interesting role playing game from Namco Bandai is the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology. The creator of this game has gained a good reputation from his previous releases like Square, Enix, etc. Though Radiant Mythology is a successor of the previous games, it is perfectly blended to bring together the best elements of its predecessors. The attributes of the game includes detailed character customization, flex range linear motion, full 3D graphics and many.
Radiant Mythology is very different from its predecessors. The main character in this game could be custom built. The self designing feature of the character allows the players to choose the character’s name, gender, skin tone, hair color and even voice. The character could establish the job class choosing from the nine classes available in the game.
The game commences with the newly made character awakening at the foot of the World Tree, a magical arbor that secures the world of Terresia from evil. A character named Mormo will call you a Descender, a hero created by the World Tree in order to defeat the Devourer. The Devourer is an evil organism from another world, which is bent on consuming all of Terresia. With the help of a girl named Kananno and a resistance force known as Ad Libitum, the player will travel across the world to find and destroy The Devourer.
The Ad Libitum assigns various adventure quests to the player and these tasks should be completed precisely to advance with the story line. These tasks however include traveling through various dungeons, acquiring specific items, battle dangerous monsters, etc. After the completion of each quest, the player will receive fame points. These are essential to increase the strength of the team that is needed. Tales of the World - Radiant Mythology is widely acclaimed for its amusing cut-scenes that involve different Tales characters and a very solid battle system. One minute disappointment that prevails throughout the game is that, the player is portrayed as a normal errand boy trying to save the world, and not a hero. Keep that small tendency apart, the Radiant Mythology is a wonderful game to play and entertain.
