The name Crash Tag Team Racing basically unveils the premise of the game. The title’s protagonist Crash Bandicoot and his pals are not new to the gaming world. They have been exciting the gaming world for awhile now with all the Crash Bandicoot platform games, but now the hero and friends are here to race against each other in Crash Tag Team Racing for the PSP.
When you start playing the game you realize it has many surprises in store. According to the game storyline, Crash Tag Team Racing is organized in a giant amusement park managed by Von Clutch (a cyborg with a German accent). A tragic element is immediately added to the story as someone steals Von Clutch’s power crystal and puts the park in jeopardy. To get them back Von Clutch organizes a series of races around the park and so begins our kart racing saga.
The game features eight stylish and renowned characters, complete with distinct tracks and racing courses. And in order to complete all this races, you will find yourself wandering around the park, constructing your way around obstacles, struggling with Ninja Penguins, and collecting a copious amount of coinage. The precise goal of the player in Crash Tag Team Racing (PSP) is to collect various power crystals that automatically feed a hidden machine in one of the main five worlds. Crystals can only be won by winning the races and challenges.
The racing mode of this game actually compares very well with other traditional kart racing games, like Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing. Apart from the standard racing and target-shooting races, you can engage in time trials and a stunt mode. In terms of graphics and sound the title is extremely persuasive, as both are very smooth and help accentuate the fun gameplay. This fast-paced and upbeat entertainer is a clear winner.

The naughty dog hero Crash Bandicoot has managed to pull off his own game, and guess what? It’s actually pretty good. Yes we are talking about Crash of the Titans, a PSP game featuring Crash Bandicoot, superb graphics and interesting level design. The game sets a positive tone from the outset and entertains the player all the way through to the end.
One of the game’s features which is really worth appreciating is how the developers did not try to needlessly over complicate things and kept the gameplay straightforward and simple. The gamer plays the hero Crash Bandicoot and keeps confronting his arch nemesis Dr Neo Cortex and battles him throughout the game. The game starts off as Crash and a group of friends are shown relaxing at a place where they try their best to recycle butter, when, out of nowhere, Cortex comes in with terrible intentions of kidnapping his friends Coco and Aku-Aku.
Crash of the Titans comes across as a game which is very unpredictable at every stage and makes for some great entertainment and action along the way. Special emphasis has been put on the combat sequences in Crash of the Titans (PSP), which have been executed beautifully. As the gamer keeps on progressing by smashing enemies and objects around the arena, he/she also keeps picking up orbs. These mojo orbs will upgrade the gamer’s ability and will add new moves to his armor, eventually making combat with enemies more difficult.
The gamer has the leverage to pummel the freaks, all of whom are giant sized. The star meter placed above the gamer keeps increasing with the number of freaks the gamer takes out. The gamer can also climb up the monster and ride it, which really looks funny, while some other nifty extras and toys have also been included. If the gamer decides to complete the game at one go, then it is going to take him at least a minimum of 7 hours, which is a little short, but there is a lot of replay value.
So anyone who can’t get enough of Crash Bandicoot will definitely be satisfied with this title.
