More Magic with Harry Potter

Posted on Apr 24, 2008 10:07:48 AM

“Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince” will be released for the PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii, PC and even the GBA, at the same time as the upcoming film. The ports under an apparent time constraint will probably not be any real top hits, but fans of the series, myself included, can get excited over a nice game. The predecessor “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” even managed to win over many critics, and the PSP version was actually quite playable. So maybe we should wait and see before dismissing the game as a pure marketing tool for the book and movie. EA could enchant the game with some of their own magic. At any rate, the series is clearly the most successful game of all time, not even Grand Theft Auto comes close. Read the rest of this entry »
