More Magic with Harry Potter
“Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince” will be released for the PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii, PC and even the GBA, at the same time as the upcoming film. The ports under an apparent time constraint will probably not be any real top hits, but fans of the series, myself included, can get excited over a nice game. The predecessor “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” even managed to win over many critics, and the PSP version was actually quite playable. So maybe we should wait and see before dismissing the game as a pure marketing tool for the book and movie. EA could enchant the game with some of their own magic. From New York to Moscow. That’s pretty damn far. So far, in fact, that Google maps can’t even calculate an optimal travel route. But the incredible distance between the two cities is the same as if all the Sims boxes sold were queued up together in one straight line. Because the Sims have sold over 100 million units, counting all the expansions. Which means that on average every third American or every seventh European would possess a copy of the Sims.
