Exit: the Game for the PSP

Posted on Jul 4, 2008 10:36:47 AM

Are you immersed in puzzle fever? Then experience an all new game called “Exit” on your PSP, which is a wonderful inventive brainteaser with a great sense of style. The game protagonist is Mr. Esc the “escapologist” who has a serious caffeine addiction, agile frame and sharp mental faculties.

Mr. Esc uses his talents for paying customers who need people extracted from dangerous situations. The game has a total of 10 exciting stages and each one is unique in graphics and design. You will be puzzled as you move your way from a burning building, a flooded mall, a quake-rattled hospital, a blacked-out underground facility, a hotel that has been hit by an avalanche, and so own. Your prime goal is to find the survivors and get them to the exit. You have to cross all kinds of problems and difficulties from bare electrical floor panels, to flooded caverns. Finding the survivors is pretty easy, as you can use the analog stick to scroll around the area near Mr. Esc. As you hit the select button it will bring up a simple map that pinpoints the locations of the survivors and the exit.

Mr. Esc is strong and clever, but he is not a superman. He can jump, crawl, push and swim underwater for less than a minute. If he makes contact with fire, electricity or if he falls from a great height, it will surely cripple him and his mission will end at that very point of time. There are four types of survivors that you will encounter- young adults, grown adults, children and the injured. It gets increasingly difficult as you move forward to the next level. On rare occasions the game will focus on action rather than the puzzles. There are 100 individual levels in Exit (PSP), which will give even the most cunning puzzle fans trouble. The game also features an online mode with which you can download additional levels. The game graphics are superb and the soundtracks are a fusion of break beats and jazzy melodies. People who like puzzle game will enjoy playing it as they will not realize that it is actually a puzzle game.
