Kratos is back with his voyage for vengeance and this time he will leave no stone unturned. Following the stupendous success of ‘God of War: Chain of Olympus’, the makers of the game have released the God of War: Chain of Olympus (Platinum) for the Playstation Portable. The game starts off with the same concept in which Kratos was cheated into slaying his wife and daughter and afterwards withdrew his loyalty towards Ares. The gods have been left powerless and the onus of rescuing is on Kratos. The camera angles are undoubtedly dramatic and there are a lot of novel combat manoeuvres that have been introduced. The combo attacks are as devastating as they can ever be. This is one factor that makes playing the God of War game a very enthralling experience.
There are a lot of hidden mysteries to be explored in the game like the Gates of Hades and the Depths of Tartarus. The ancient world will be very exciting to explore and the secrecies will be more riveting. Buy the game if you have played the original one and you will see a lot of fantastic changes. The revelations will be more endearing and our hero Kratos will be as devastating as he has been till now. The game has been priced very reasonably and the Platinum version promises a celebration that has never been seen before. The God of War: Chain of Olympus (Platinum) PSP game is a very good addition and will give you complete value for money. Go and get your piece right away.

Ready at Dawn, a relatively unknown game developing company has come out with its latest gaming venture God of War: Chains of Olympus. A complete thriller, full of deadly action and exhilarating adventure specifically targeted at hardcore action enthusiasts, God of War is a slick game exclusively developed for the PlayStation Portable System. The game is the third in the God of War franchise and is basically a prequel to the original game. It is second in the line for Ready at Dawn after Daxter, which was a runway hit and received critical acclaim, also designed for the PSP system.
It specializes in violence, slashing, ruthlessness and the enemy death scenes are especially violent, gory and sometimes somewhat overboard. The Blades of Chaos is the main weapon of the protagonist, Kratos, and was given to him by Ares. Along with that, he also has the Sun Shield, which protects him from all the enemy attacks and also helps him in deflecting back the maneuvers of foes. Kratos is truly the model warrior and the addition of Magical spells (namely the Efreet Spell and the Light of Dawn) at his disposal only increases his power.
From the word go, the gamer will find himself in the middle of an intense battle zone where the player must defend the city of Attica and also confront the mammoth Basilisk, a tyrannical beast released by the Persian force to take on the city. The attention on the action keeps the gamer busy and the combat sequences are simply phenomenal. It caters to all the extreme expectations that a quintessential action loving gamer expects of one. From a visual perspective, God of War: Chains of Olympus stands head and shoulders above all the recent games that have been out in the market. The game delivers in all aspects related to violence and terror and will make all the gamers crave for more. Verdict: The Game delivers and creates an unforgettable gaming experience.

Young girls and boys have become fans of the PSP and expect it to be their favorite gift on their birthday. The kids love it and you will also fall in love with it. It is a powerful dose of entertainment and fun. Its 3D games have amazing graphics. Now you can play and experience your favorite game, before purchasing it, with Game Demos.
A Game demo gives a preview of the game. The difference between a game and a game demo is that it is a bridged version of the original game. The actual game generally contains 15 to 20 levels, whereas a game demo may contain only 3 to 4 levels.
Recently six new game demos have been launched and are available in one zip file known as the demo collection zip file. To download this file, firstly you need to extract the contents of the zip file. After this connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable. The demos can alternatively be loaded onto a memory card and then loaded onto the PSP. Then, go to the PSP/Game folder. Lastly copy all folders into the GAME directory. The latest demo site that has been launched for all you PSP fans is the demos.pspfanboy.com, which is available through PSP Demo Center. The game demos are freely available on the web. Game demos provide you a small taste and keep you updated with the new releases. One can check out new and updated gallery of the PSP version. The Ready at Dawn Studios from Irvine, California should be a recognisable name for every well informed PSP owner since the advent God of War: Chains of Olympus. To remind people of old times they were even responsible for Daxter, which wasn’t a bad effort either. However, it was above all God of War that convinced me the game design studio would have more in store for the PSP. After all, the game’s ending didn’t seem completely concluded and was just begging for a sequel: or more optimistically, a sequel for the handheld. Unfortunately, the creative director at Ready at Dawn Studios has expressed himself to the contrary in an interview with Gamespot. There are currently no plans to develop additional games for the PSP:
I think that Sony, and other publishers for that matter, should take some chances on the system and allow for some big productions on the platform. More often than not, the PSP is seen as a secondary console with only a few great games developed exclusively for it. […] Again, whether the PSP, PS3, 360, Wii or DS, the systems will only be as successful as the games that are made for them and right now, not enough good stuff is available out there for some of the platforms.
So there is not enough stuff out there for the PSP. Let’s hope then that other developers, and much more importantly publishers (we’re thinking about you Sony) will step up to fill the gap of quality games available for the PSP. Who knows, if this happens maybe Ready at Dawn could return to the PSP with God of War 2 and a happy end for Kratos. The game remains one of the most enjoyable out there for the handheld, so it doesn’t hurt to hope.

Children today love violence and fantasy. If these are the ingredients to make or mar a game and to gauge its popularity then the God of war is sure to be a super duper hit with any youngster. As the name suggests it is about a god or demo god who enthralls you with his exploits. It has the stamp of the PSP games –all action packed and thrilling at every moment!
God of War: The Chain of Olympus is really a thrilling game. It is quite adventurous and keeps you literally on your toes. Kratos the protagonist of the game makes you live all the exciting adventures with him .When he takes out his chain-cum-sword embedded in his hand and attacks others one is caught in the drama. The Sun Shield which Kratos uses allows him to avert most attacks; in fact he even rebounds and attacks with vigor and vengeance. The game depicts breath taking awe inspiring stretched out fight scenes with lots of violence.
The puzzle feature woven in the game is certainly nail biting as it gives the close up shot of the killing of the enemy. Kratos has not only to break poles etc but also to hit others coming in his way with his sword. While going through all this the player (Kratos) and his sword gains power which is being highlighted in different colors-red, green, blue. It gives a chance to exercise your mental prowess and also to break the monotony of the game. It also caters for those who might like non stop violence. The weapons used by Kratos are really innovative like his “Blades of Chaos” and the “Gauntlet of Zeus”.
The surprises do not end here. There are the fascinating spells from the world of magic the magical spells really worth mentioning like the “Efreet spell”, “The Light of Dawn” and “Charon’s Wrath”.

From GTA to Doom, videos games are always being censored and blamed for society’s ills. Apparently this is both a timeless and world wide phenomenon, as the latest game to be branded “Illegal” is God of War: Chains of Olympus in the United Arab Emirates. In fact, outlawing the game itself is not enough, as anyone who plays the game will also be treated like a criminal.
The reasons for this are largely due to the Islamic influence in the country. Moreover, the decision was made based on the admittedly controversial included mini sex game, although otherwise God of War is not without violence. Of course the game is only “officially” banned, and given the simplicity of obtaining an pirated copy, the law is largely ineffective. At least the government did not feel that outlawing the game was enough to defend Islam. That’s way they instituted a number of raids and crackdowns where they confiscated copies of God of War and other offending games. What charges were filled against the owners, remains unknown, but they will probably not get off without some form of punishment. Of course the question remains, is all this really necessary?
