PSP sales continue to boom in Japan!
The PSP sales boom in Japan continues relentlessly. The PSP even sold more units in one week than all the other consoles combined. Mysterious Countdown
A strange website just went online on the official website of Sony Japan. Only a blood red background and slight splashes are viewable on the site, with a countdown placed on the side. Right now it is at 45 hours and counting. The gloomy atmosphere is enforced with an acoustic mix of rain, and horrifying whispers. Of course, it remains completely unclear what the countdown signifies. Maybe it is an announcement of Sony’s intent to destroy the world in less than two days. Or maybe something else, regarding ketchup, who knows? However, the whole thing is reminiscent of Silent Hill, which shouldn’t even come from Japan. Regardless if it signifies the apocalypse, ketchup or Silent Hill, something will happen in 45 hours and we will keep you informed when it does.
April 18th Update:
Previously we thought the countdown might be for Silent Hill or something ketchup related, but now we have discovered it is for something even more horrible; namely, a new series for the PS3. Of course, this is only bad because it doesn’t offer anything for PSP users. Once again Sony opts to concentrate on the PS3, even though our PSP does far better in terms of sales. If was nevertheless a nice marketing move and we hope to see something similar with the PSP next time!
Sexy Bikini Nazis for the PSP?
Yes, you are reading and seeing correctly. At least that is more or less the content of the PS2 game Moe Moe World War II, now coming to the PSP. According to the publisher SystemSoft Alfo, the PS game set in the more unrealistic World War II scenario, will be a mix of strategy and adventure. Moreover the PSP version will add an additional scenario and character, improved graphics, and make slight gameplay changes. Apparently we can expect a very, very, very unusual gaming scenario.
