With a nice, movie-like look and interesting minigames, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End is a part of the well-known series. The plot and graphics truly reflect the hard work of the Disney interactive, which has given a unique status to the game as being almost as good as the movie.

In the initial half of At World’s End, the players will have come across Captain Jack Sparrow, who is trying hard to restore Davy Jones heart. As you have probably guessed correctly, it is actually a part of the Dead Man’s Heart. In the second part, however, you will find Sparrow engaged in a different activity, accompanied by his band. Many cutscenes in Pirates of the Carribean - At Worlds End are designed to maintain the flow of the story while making also making the plot much more comprehensive. However, if the role of Jack Sparrow (which covers a major portion of the game) is too long and boring for you, you can also always play as some other characters like Elizabeth and Will. Providing you with an ample scope for action, you will get to enjoy both strong and mild attacks on your way to Singapore. You are supposed to fight against rivals on your journey, which starts from Tortuga. Although you may find the fighting a little on the easy side, you need to beware of the upcoming enemies who may enter the scene all of a sudden and at once.

As the game proceeds, you have to earn new combos to move further. In this effort, you can also use the block button but only for a limited number of enemies as most of them attack from the back. Then there are some treacherous weapons like the sharp knives and the big guns for assisting you in your fights. These weapons are scattered in the environment and you simply pick up the one that is best for the fight at that time. To earn more notoriety, you must try using a mix of attacks.

The audio of the game is something that can capture your attention on its own, but the dialogue is actually a little weak at many places, and somewhat subpar. The graphics, on the other hand, are state of the art, and contribute to what is actually a fairly good movie-turned-game.

You must have watched Johnny Depp’s blockbuster movie” Pirates of the Caribbean” but have you experienced the title “Pirates of the Caribbean” available on your PSP yet? If your answer is “No”, then you really shouldn’t wait any longer before picking up the game. Because unlike most game adaptations of movies, this one has actually been executed quite well and will provide entertainment for everyone, not just fans of the movies.

The title does an unexpectedly good job of capturing the look and humor of the movie but not without forgetting the action of course. The first of the title follows the events of the “Dead Man’s Chest”. In Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest (PSP), Captain Jack Sparrow’s doesn’t want to become a member of Davy Jones’ crew and that’s why he makes an attempt at recovering the heart of Davy Jones. Whereas in the second portion Sparrow and the band of misfits merges to take on Lord Beckett and retrieve Davy Jones heart once and for all. Apart from Jack Sparrow, other characters are also playable, including Elizabeth, Will and a few more. Your player will be able to perform both light & heavy attacks and execute combos by stringing the attacks together. As you progress in the game you will earn more combos but these quite similar to the previous ones. Most of the damage comes from enemies who attack from behind when you are dealing with foes in front of you. You can use a handful of weapons like guns, grenades and knives while progressing through the campaign. At one point in time you will get trapped by an invisible wall until you destroy the enemies. Once you are through with them you’ll travel a short distance and then resume the process again.

Now if we move on to some technical aspects, then the sound quality is brilliant. Moreover the graphics are superbly realistic and natural, and will really keep you immersed in the action. Your player will look like a real human being which makes it more appealing. So overall the title is absolutely fantastic, and is meant for everyone, not just fans of the movies.
