Sega has recently announced that the Phantasy Star Portable for the PSP is set to launch in North America. The game is based on a successful Japanese title and will now offer players the exciting RPG Phantasy Star adventure from the Phantasy Star Universe series anytime, anywhere they want.
The Phantasy Star takes place after the events of Phantasy Star Universe. You will team up with the Vivienne during the game play. Vivienne is a brand new character in the series who will help in investigating an outbreak of disgusting animals who posses some evil force. As soon as the game starts, you can select from three class types and four different races. Because of the presence of single player story mode, which has been designed impeccably you will get immersed into the game and live your character, not just play it. The Phantasy Star also offers the awesome Phantasy Star Universe co-op game play in which you can team up with three more players to experience more fun and excitement. Via PSP wireless connection all the players can interact with each other and co-ordinate with each other to complete their missions. The new mission based story makes it really challenging for the participating players to set targets fro them and tackle the awful situations with full team spirit.
The game includes all new hardcore features including items, enemy book records and new titles that get unlocked by achieving difficult goals. This gives the players a satisfying victory and they are encouraged to play the game again and again. Ultimately this is the key feature which makes the Phantasy Star Portable one of the most addicting action RPG titles for the Play Station Portable.
