ATV Offroad Fury Pro is an awesome racing based game for the PSP fans, and especially so for PSP racing fans. This version is the successor to the old ATV Offroad, and is loaded with lots of new features, vehicles, gameplay modes, tracks and stunning visuals.
Developed by Climax Studios, and released by Sony Entertainment, this one lives up to the expectations of even the most demanding and critical gamer. Whether you are playing in the single player mode, or competing in a multiplayer battle, you will feel excited because of the variety of different ways you can make your opponent eat the dust.
Thanks to the improved AI and game control, which was rather awkward in the older version of this racing maniac, things have gotten better and more intense. ATV Offroad Fury Pro offers the player complete control over the vehicles. You will find it easy to handle the fast-paced four wheelers with the D pad on your PSP. This game offers different types of racing machines, which all go completely crazy as soon as you activate the acceleration. You will get ride bikes, buggies, trucks, snowmobiles and ATVs. There are also some additions with respect to the race types.
The concept in the new version is overall quite similar to the old version. You can earn money by performing well in the races and winning the cups. If you prove yourself as an extremely good racer, then you may attract some sponsors towards you, which naturally speeds up the cash inflow. This hard earned money can be utilized to upgrade your racing machines and further improve your performance.
Onto the technical aspects, where Offroad Fury Pro is very smooth. One noticeable improvement in this version is its visuals. The draw distance has been improved a lot. However, at times you may see some graphics getting distorted, with small windows popping in and out, but this isn’t ever a major distraction. The track designs are good and the surroundings are also created with utmost precision. The whole racing environment looks like a real life racing grid. The game sounds are also very realistic sounding and high quality. If you liked the first one, then you are guaranteed to like this one twice as much.
