Tokobot can be best described as a cross between Nintendo’s Pikmin game and a puzzle platform game. This game features six tiny robots which are totally controlled by the player and used to navigate and solve various puzzle levels. Though it sounds quite simple, this game actually offers its share of challenges and enjoyable moments.
The best part is that the player not only has to learn how to manage the group of six or more robots, but also learn how to make use of some of their intricate moves during the course of the game. The tocobots have the special ability to get into any kind of three formations. These special formations can make use of special moves called Joint Actions. These joints can be used to defeat the enemies. The real excitement in Tokobot (PSP) lies in deciding which move to be taken when and, most importantly, which move will be most effective for disposing off a particular enemy.
The game’s graphics are very crisp and sharp, and the background areas appear quite smooth when in motion. There have been a few special effects added to the game to enhance its visuals. The sound effects include the sound of beeps and other noises, in addition to a quirky soundtrack. On a whole, the audio in the game would sound something like a special soundtrack created by the techno band of robots.
Tokobot can be regarded as an extremely unique and entertaining game. This game can be regarded as something completely fresh and different, with hardly any precedents, other than maybe Pikmin. It is definitely not a simple or easy game to play either. It will definitely offer hours of mind bending enjoyment. Tokobot is a complete package deal with a completely unique gameplay, challenging levels, and excellent organization.

WTF, or Work Time Fun, is a quirky collection of Japanese minigames with an English translation. If you like to play games that are easy to learn and very quick, then this game is for you. It includes a set of 40 games for you to test your skills. Each mini-game has its own set of controls and is designed to be played for only a few minutes. This will ensure plenty of frantic variation, and is perfect for whenever you are on a short break.
The game is based on the concept of a temporary worker. Here you are a temporary worker who visits a placement office for a job and is offered four out of the forty jobs. Each mini-game here is a job for which you get paid in the form of virtual money. It is not necessary to complete ever single game. After you have earned money from the first set of jobs or minigames, you can use the cash earned to unlock more games from the vending machine. There are a lot of available machines, where the cheapest one dispenses the $1 goods and the most expensive one dispenses goods for $50. Different items come out from some machines and there is no guarantee that each spin will ensure a new item every time. So you really need to work hard to earn more bucks and get more items.
As already discussed each mini game is a job, so these jobs vary from putting a cap on a pen, to chopping wood, to helping the people cross the street. This variety box will definitely have something in stock for everyone. The mini-game concept is definitely unique for the PSP, and is somewhat similar to games like WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Wii. Another great part of the game is that you can invite your friends to play this game by hiring them and you can then keep a part of their savings or vice a versa.
Work Time Fun, or WTF as it is more commonly known, is a Japanese game with a very strange and unique concept that certainly makes most people ask ‘WTF?’ when playing it. Of course, WTF is perfect if you are looking for something different, and unusual.

Get ready to experience one of the most popular puzzle games available on your PSP, Echochrome. It’s an innovative and challenging puzzler which requires exceptional perception power and forces you to solve a large number of unique puzzles in an exciting way.
Echochrome consists of a total of 56 puzzle levels. Each of them requires you to guide your mannequin through the environment and collect four echoes which are scattered throughout the stage. You can also rotate the camera angle to see whether the two different pathways touch each other or not. If your mannequin falls through a hole then it will simply fall on anything which lies beneath it. The main challenge and excitement of Echochrome is that you get only three minutes to complete each level by deducing the right path. You will have to think and act as quickly as possible. Another challenging task is controlling the mannequin. It never stops moving until you press the triangle button on your PSP, and stopping it does not paus the three minute timer.
As far as the game’s visuals and performance are concerned, there is plenty to be delighted over. This game manages to look spectacular while strengthening your cognitive power. Although you will not get ultra hi-end graphics, you will experience true to life effects regarding the object distance and angle. The game flow is smooth and the background sound effects are also intellectually integrated with the movement of the mannequin. You can clearly hear the footsteps noise and the falling sound of the mannequin. Apart from these, you can also go beyond the original 56 in-game levels. By using the Canvas mode you can create your own puzzle levels, as well as modify the existing ones and share your creations with the help of Wi-Fi connectivity.

Are you fed up of playing the similar old war and combat oriented titles? Want to exercise your mind? Do you enjoy solving puzzles? If you answered yes to these questions, then it might the right time to test your wits against mind teasing puzzle called the 7 wonders of the Ancient World.
This title offers some very exciting puzzles that are very similar to puzzles found in other brainteaser games. But what makes a lot of difference in this game is the way in which they are delivered. This dynamic game is phenomenally presented as the graphics are very appealing and accompanied by apt sound effects and background music.
Let’s now get into the concept and the gameplay, which is equally impressive. The game is based on the clichéd foundation as it includes several levels or stages, consisting of multi-colored grids that need to be shuffled around. The motto behind the shuffling is to prepare columns and rows of three or more similar colored runes. Those columns and rows will disappear and other runes will then take their place. Each level of 7 Wonders of the Ancient World (PSP) is based on one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. When playing, you will notice these seven wonders appearing in the background. All the seven wonders are portrayed nicely and add charm to the screen. They include the Great Pyramid of Giza, Babylon’s Hanging Gardens, the Temple of Artemis, Zeus’ Statue at Olympia, the Mausoleum of Maussollos, the Rhodes Colossus, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria. As you progress in the game, the shape of each grid will change and you’ll find the game getting more tricky and cumbersome. Any puzzle and history lovers will be sure to fall for this game.

Our beloved PSP (Play Station Portable) is getting cuter with a dazzling and dynamic title known as Downstream Panic. Trying to breach the clichéd fun of your ordinary shoot-em-up titles, Downstream Panic introduces some very unique, puzzle-oriented gaming concepts. The best way to describe it is something of a cross between Loco Rocco and Lemmings.
The concept of the game is based on a fish and guiding this fish through the stream. Yes, instead of sheparding around cute Loco Roco, you are trying to safely guide the fish to their destination. In Downstream Panic a fish is poured out of the container and you (the player) have to guide the fish throughout the mazelike stages. There are around 100 different kinds of fish available, and this number will even increase as you progress further in the game.
As a guardian and as a protector, you have to guard your little friends from the giant carnivorous fish who are looking forward to chewing on them. The whole area is filled with these giant carnivorous fish, except a small portion at the bottom, which is prominently marked by two buoys. The gamer will not have direct control over the action and the movement of the fish, because the flowing water frequently decides where they go. But you can control the water movement by utilizing a few available tools. In the beginning, you can use a bomb which can be used effectively to blow up the parts of the level. Further on you’ll receive a seed which is meant to grow up into a plant and will assist you in holding the water pressure. Later you can use a harpoon as well to kill the enemy fishes. In the upper levels of the game, clouds will be introduced to assist you in catching and holding your fish. All in all, it’s definitely something different and actually a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, many people have the perception that all games are based on blowing stuff up, explosions and guns. Of course this is not at all true, there are plenty of games in which no guns are involved, and all the combat is done with melee weapons; but, there are also games that are even more different, like puzzle games. Puzzle games can be just as exciting or interesting as any action oriented title. The game doesn’t include crime fighting or mission accomplishment tasks but it actually requires intelligence. One can play it for mind exercise as well. One such intellectually stimulating puzzle game is PQ2 for the PSP.
The concept of the game is very understandable as it includes a series of 100 three dimensional puzzles based on logic. Puzzle games aren’t that foreign to the PSP either, as many hit titles, like Go Sudoku (PSP), have been featured on the PSP. A player is assigned PQ scores to rate their efficiency and intelligence. Each and every puzzle involves a starting and a finishing point, and one has to guide his/her avatar throughout the level. The avatar is a white human shaped silhouette that you have to guide and ensure it reaches its destination (POINT B) in less time, while avoiding unnecessary moves. Consistency is the only way of simultaneously accomplishing the task and achieving relatively good score. The abilities of the avatar include walking around, stepping up a single block level, picking up smaller blocks, and pushing larger ones.
As compared to its previous version PQ, this upgraded edition of the game introduces some brand new aspects which will surely tease your brain further. PQ2 now includes glass blocks which will shatter if dropped; this is actually a something which can sometimes go for or against you. These blocks are amazing as lasers, which you will increasingly face more often as the game progresses, can also pass through them. The role of security guards is now being played by the Holmesian detectives. They will chase you on the same path and you’re bound to start the puzzle over if they catch up with you. Overall it’s an impressive mind twister which is recommended for any puzzle fans.

Are you immersed in puzzle fever? Then experience an all new game called “Exit” on your PSP, which is a wonderful inventive brainteaser with a great sense of style. The game protagonist is Mr. Esc the “escapologist” who has a serious caffeine addiction, agile frame and sharp mental faculties.
Mr. Esc uses his talents for paying customers who need people extracted from dangerous situations. The game has a total of 10 exciting stages and each one is unique in graphics and design. You will be puzzled as you move your way from a burning building, a flooded mall, a quake-rattled hospital, a blacked-out underground facility, a hotel that has been hit by an avalanche, and so own. Your prime goal is to find the survivors and get them to the exit. You have to cross all kinds of problems and difficulties from bare electrical floor panels, to flooded caverns. Finding the survivors is pretty easy, as you can use the analog stick to scroll around the area near Mr. Esc. As you hit the select button it will bring up a simple map that pinpoints the locations of the survivors and the exit.
Mr. Esc is strong and clever, but he is not a superman. He can jump, crawl, push and swim underwater for less than a minute. If he makes contact with fire, electricity or if he falls from a great height, it will surely cripple him and his mission will end at that very point of time. There are four types of survivors that you will encounter- young adults, grown adults, children and the injured. It gets increasingly difficult as you move forward to the next level. On rare occasions the game will focus on action rather than the puzzles. There are 100 individual levels in Exit (PSP), which will give even the most cunning puzzle fans trouble. The game also features an online mode with which you can download additional levels. The game graphics are superb and the soundtracks are a fusion of break beats and jazzy melodies. People who like puzzle game will enjoy playing it as they will not realize that it is actually a puzzle game.

Till now all the hard core and armature gamers have experienced titles full of thrill, excitement, mystery, action, puzzle, competition & sports. They must have enjoyed playing them as well. But now kids can experience another title on their favorite console known as the PSP (play station portable). This extraordinary title is an educational game, offering excitement and thrill typical of action games. The title’s title is “Spelling challengers and more!” and it undertakes the responsibility of improving your spelling which can further lead to securing good marks in exams.
The title will drain your brain till the time you extract correct spelling of the word asked from your mind. Now let’s talk about the theme or the concept of the game. The spelling challengers includes a sum of 14 word games utilizing a database of 25,000 words coupled with around 100 complicated stages that will be based on your performance. The first game with which you will come across is “Odd one out”. The game involves a touch screen listed four words, one of which is misspelled and the gamer has to locate that wrongly spelled word. Simultaneously we are also competing with the clock to identify the misspelled word in less time, and thereby secure higher scores. This process of securing scores will take us to the advanced levels and by following the same procedure we will reach the last stage in the blink of an eye. But in PSP version it will speak the word aloud rather than flashing it on the screen, and rest of the procedure is similar. This proves the PSP is also a great learning device, despite being a gaming console, and that the laptop alone is not the only portable computer conducive to education. Being a PSP lover one must check out this game as early as possible. This fantastic title is enough to make anyone fond of word games. Have fun and improve your vocabulary at the same time.
