The Sony PSP Go is one of the most relished secrets that have finally been revealed. It is much smaller in size and contains a slide up screen. There is no specific presence of a UMD drive and nor are there any upgrades related to changing games. The form of the device is really praiseworthy. The 3.8 inch wide screen shows everything clearly and the controls have been placed prudently for easy usage. The total memory present in the Sony PSP Go is 16GB and can be expanded further with the help of the memory Stick Micro Slot. Controls include the likes of the four-way D-pad which is situated on the left, the quartet of controls like the square, circle, triangle and cross and the select/start buttons used in the centre. The top of the console also witnesses the presence of a second analog control thus completing the control scheme. The Wi-Fi facility has been installed in the PlayStation Portable Go which again plays a big role in enhancing connectivity in the console.
There are a lot of game franchises that have been announced to be put on continuation. These include the likes of Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet, Jack and Daxter, Metal Gear and MotorStorm. They can all be played on the Sony PSP Go when their latest editions are released. The gamer can also download PSP games through the Wi-Fi connection and play them thoroughly. The price of the Sony PSP Go! is also very reasonable considering the frenzied popularity that its predecessor enjoyed. Get it and keep the PSP tradition alive.

Gamers fond of hack and slash will find a breath of fresh air with the Warriors of the Lost Empire (PSP). It is an action game with a proper plot and lots of sensible action. Everything takes place in dungeons and you can also expect fire breathing dragons to make an impression. The setting of the game is quite primitive and the excitement is hard to resist. The Roman touch adds a lot of value to the game and will make the gamer feel like a Roman gladiator. The city in which the game is portrayed is said to be plagued by monsters and the dead. Wizards will show off their wizardry and the ghosts are spooky as usual. Every mission the gamer is sent to a distinct dungeon and the monsters that need to be fought are different. There is a boss to be combated for going ahead in the game. Surprise appearance of magical elevators is a good gimmick to add excitement and keeps the interest alive.
The gamer can choose any one out of the four allotted characters. Each character has different powers attached to him and displays unique skills. The combat sequences are good and makes the gamer yearn for more. The Warriors of the Lost Empire PSP game is not the run-of-the-mill types and has a lot of substance in it. It is as good as an action game can be and provides a lot of entertainment. The pricing has been done as per industry standards. Get a copy of this PlayStation Portable game and try it out. The money you spend on it will be worth it.

Kratos is back with his voyage for vengeance and this time he will leave no stone unturned. Following the stupendous success of ‘God of War: Chain of Olympus’, the makers of the game have released the God of War: Chain of Olympus (Platinum) for the Playstation Portable. The game starts off with the same concept in which Kratos was cheated into slaying his wife and daughter and afterwards withdrew his loyalty towards Ares. The gods have been left powerless and the onus of rescuing is on Kratos. The camera angles are undoubtedly dramatic and there are a lot of novel combat manoeuvres that have been introduced. The combo attacks are as devastating as they can ever be. This is one factor that makes playing the God of War game a very enthralling experience.
There are a lot of hidden mysteries to be explored in the game like the Gates of Hades and the Depths of Tartarus. The ancient world will be very exciting to explore and the secrecies will be more riveting. Buy the game if you have played the original one and you will see a lot of fantastic changes. The revelations will be more endearing and our hero Kratos will be as devastating as he has been till now. The game has been priced very reasonably and the Platinum version promises a celebration that has never been seen before. The God of War: Chain of Olympus (Platinum) PSP game is a very good addition and will give you complete value for money. Go and get your piece right away.

With so many dungeons based games already flooding the PSP, there is yet another on offer and that is the Dungeons and Dragons series named the Dungeons and Dragons Tactics.
The game has a very promising start and is sure to enthral hardcore fans of Dungeons and Dragons. The music is very melodious and soul stirring while the title screen exhibits a moody atmosphere and is dark providing all the eeriness and elements of surprise that one loves so much in these games. The game from Kuju Entertainment opens into the main menu where you have eight options to choose from, and various ways to begin playing your game. Press the ‘Quick Start’ button and get into instant action with pre generated characters of the party.
Every party in the game consists of a single hero, who is in total control of the story. Generate your very own hero manually. Choose the gender, race and then the class. Then you need to allocate individual points to your character and that determines how well your characters react to others around them.
Then you select your skills from a range of twenty five options available and help boost your skills using the points. You can select feats of your choice and finally you get to choose your character’s portrait. Now you are set to play the game with your chosen character. When you choose your own character, you get the opportunity to learn about the game and how to use your various skills better at every turn of events.
The game has some shortcomings and beginners have to work very hard so they can get the most of the game. There are rule sets that players are required to follow and players would have to pour over rulebooks to determine whether the Orc has really killed the Human. The Dungeons & Dragons Tactics PSP version seems to be a slow game as the progress through the game seems erratic. It has great graphics and excellent sound The PlayStation Portable Dungeons and Dragons game is fun and exciting to play with friends on the multi player mode. Enjoy hours of fun with Dungeons and Dragons on your favourite PlayStation Portable.

Spectral Souls is a strategy RPG from developer NIS America and Idea Factory. This is the story of Neverland the alternate world. Here, the demonic lords rule over the humans. There are clashes and rebellions at frequent intervals. The war is interspersed and slowed down by the peace initiatives and talks and the civilization is brimming with a discontent ready to manifest and erupt any time.
Demonic troop’s burn down several villages and the Seven Year War revolution kicks off. The war kicks off with a bang taking players through various twists and dark themes.
The human fighters form the Reformed Simba Empire and the Neverland Army features the demons. You as a player can be a part of any of the two armies or even the third peace loving Rozess Liberation Army.
Any point during the game allows players to switch between the teams. As you complete an event with a particular army, you have the option of eliminating battles for the other sides. As with the standard RPG games, you can go around the towns in order to prep up your characters. Towns feature a host of item shops, guilds and workshops. Item shops sell a host of things including accessories, healing items, armour and weapon.
Battle involves choosing people who are going to fight with you and adjust to the various conditions in order to succeed in a mission. Battle system revolves around the Hold and the Charge skills. For stronger attacks, it is possible to combine skills too. Load times are slow and this is one of the biggest drawbacks in the game. You will find the visuals are similar to other games from Idea Factory, like Generation of Chaos IV, and on the all, aside from a few certain attacks, are not anything special. Soundtrack is impressive enough but not exceptional.
Though Spectral Souls is a game with a good storyline and game play, the effect is severely undermined by UMD technical difficulties. With better load times, this game could have created quite an impact. Those who have all the time in the world to sit and wait for the game to load at every stage can try this RPG game on their PlayStation Portable.

This is a mediocre game for the PSP. The action in this flight simulator is set in space where there is no object as a landmark for orientation, there is no sense of up and down and there is complete enveloping darkness.
The very characteristic of space is there is no sense or orientation and direction. There is a sense of imbalance as you try to gauge which direction you are supposed to go. Adding to this is the enveloping darkness which does not allow you to see clearly. These two reasons only compound the failure of No Gravity, and anyone looking for a well made flight sim will do better to go for a game like Pilot Academy on the PSP. Even though plenty of games succeed in making flight sims in space work, No Gravity, doesn’t and the controls/point remains confusing and unintuitive.
Missions are linear and action is far away from the storyline. Colourful graphics is very impressive with exciting particle effects and explosions filled with impact. The Eurotrash style music is very apt and complements the game perfectly.
Controls of the spaceship are simple and straightforward. Rolling is possible with the help of the double tapped shoulder button, manoeuvring is possible with the help of the joystick, camera angles can be adjusted with the D-Pad and thrust and lock on functions can be accessed with the face buttons.
Though there are various ship models on offer, everyone naturally chooses the best all round model. Uninspiring set of missions take you around as you shoot enemy fighters, defend your ship from them, etc. Mechanism involved in shooting down enemy fighters is quite complicated and cumbersome.
Between the save points, you have to complete three to four sub missions which are frustratingly linked together. With such a random placement of enemy and repetitive actions, the game could have done better without this feature.
No Gravity provides moderate fun for a few hours at most. The number of save points irritates and frustrates and doing nothing else but repetitively shooting enemy fighters takes the fun away. The game neither packs enough thrills to make you scream nor enough excitement and fun to make you smile. Moderate is what it can be termed as. If you are not looking for too much excitement may be you can try out No Gravity on your PlayStation Portable.

The games for the PlayStation Portable have multiplied into many kinds and genres. But even now, the gamers keep looking something new and different. The true feeling of a game comes to the gamers’ mind only when he plays the game of the right kind. A game that was initially designed for a different console would hold good for the PSP. But the initial feeling would sometimes make the gamer loose interest. If that is the case, the gamers would be missing something considerable, when it comes to the ‘Mytran Wars’.
As the name goes, the appearance of the game is slightly old. The graphics and the visual features are customized to suit the theme of the game. A gamer who is looking for a happy world of advance wars would not find this game appealing. Mytran Wars PSP has its theme concentrated on a war that is led by a single player force. The camera is located at an elevated level, which could be rotated using the analog nub. The playing field is grid based and different square type grids are available as options. The various square grids offer various defensive characteristics like woodland, open, mountain etc to strengthen the game modes. Another feature of the game is the Fog of War. This feature speaks about the way the orders of unit attacks are selected. The graphics of the game-play is enjoyable. It does not annoy the players and is well aligned with the story line.
Unlike the usual war games, the commanders are directly involved in the battles. The commanders would lead their team against the enemy forces and their death would be the end of the game. Even though the game is dependant on the survival of the characters, some characters in the game are simply expendable, while the others must be retained to continue the story. As the game advances, the player gets both money and research points. The research points could be put into use to bring some new components into the game’s part shop. The game is aimed at the hardcore gamers and would certainly be challenging to the beginners.
