Each stage takes you to new areas including SpongeBob’s house, the downtown district restaurant, etc. 3D movement adds to the excitement during navigation.

There are various tasks given to SpongeBob to complete as he runs across these locations. Certain areas in Spongebob Squarepants - the Yellow Avenger are not accessible and SpongeBob has to acquire super powers to overcome these obstacles. There is added excitement in the form of the engaging Boss fights. You have to skilful enough to figure out patterns of using the super powers as well as identify and exploit weaknesses.

Indoor resembles adventure classic games as SpongeBob goes around exploring. Players are instructed through blocks of text both at the beginning and end of the missions. One feature that could have added to the excitement if included is the voice acting. As SpongeBob is injured and comes flying at the screen open mouthed, the scenario borders on the odd with no sound effects.

As a player, you go around performing tasks as you are, at all stages, aware of what you must do next, which is basically all about helping SpongeBob around with his various tasks. Though not a seat edge thriller, this casual and leisurely game is ideal to just relax and play on the PSP.
