The game developers Koei, in collaboration with Omega Force, have come out with their latest gaming venture for the PSP, entitled Warriors Orochi. The game promises to be fully packaged with jaw dropping action and is developed keeping for any daredevil action fan out there. An astounding 79 gaming characters have been included in the game, spoiling the player with a huge amount of selection and offering far more possibilities than many other games.
All the game characters are classified under different dynasties (the Dynasty Warriors 5, the Samurai Warriors 2, just to name a few), giving them an identity. Orochi Warriors (PSP) has a sound track which is a combination of rock and techno. Some new songs have been specially designed for the game to make it feel more creative and original. The final venue for fighting against the master Orochi himself is the Koshi Castle, made exclusively for the grand finale. All the players in the speed class have been given the ability to perform the Air Dash, a maneuver which keeps the player in the air and propels him towards the direction in which he wishes to go. When a player plays in the Hard Mode or the Chaos Mode, he gets access to a fourth weapon, the most powerful weapon and vicious weapon player can posses in the game. Some stages have been designed in such a way that if completed with success, they be of great help to the player in later stages.
The following elements have not been included in the gameplay:
. The ability of a ninja to perform the Double Jump.
. The Musou Rage and the Dodge Roll.
. The capability to use the Bow and Arrow.
The promoters of the game have already started discussing a possible sequel entitled Warriors Orochi 2. This is a stellar title and thoroughly recommended for any fighting game fans.
