Fading Shadows is without doubt an innovative concept, which does have its fair share of flaws, but is nonetheless a quality piece of entertainment. Instead of having numerous characters to give you company, you play a sole solitary adventurer. On your adventure you will not encounter someone like Master Gardal or any of his vile accomplices either. Instead, there is only you, the orb, and the environmental puzzles and hazards provided by each of the game’s levels. What is interesting though, is that you do not directly control the orb, while navigating the swath of hazards that confront you. Rather, you end up controlling a pillar of light that the orb happens to follow. The orb is significant in the sense that it contains the soul of the boy whose coming was foretold ages ago, and is supposed to save the currently ruined Kingdom. Read the rest of this entry »

The Buzz! Master Quiz is a somewhat clumsy yet important effort on the part of the manufacturers who have brought the popular Buzz series to your PSP handheld unit. The development is rather surprising and you will be puzzled to as to how a game, that is suitable for multiplayer shenanigans, will adjust with a format that is meant for solo gaming. Rush is PSP car racing game that it is competing for space and acclaim among a very tight and high contested genre. Many gamers are unable to break their addiction to Need for Speed and had refused to give Rush the time of day. Although the odds are mounted against it, Midway’s L.A. Even laymen can tell confidently to guess which genre the game “The Golden Compass” belongs to. That’s the beauty of this heart shaking action packed thriller title, it’s very straightforward and doesn’t mince words. You might not have guessed it, but the Golden Compass is actually based on a movie, which itself was based on fantasy novel. This is another edition in the Sonic Sega saga of which we are all aware. If you are looking for some kind of interesting and novel stuff from Sonic, then you will be disheartened and dismayed. Aside from the cheat codes, there are some very useful unlockables GTA: Vice City Stories too; which can change the gameplay immensely. Of course, since Grand Theft Auto IV will not be making its way to the PSP anytime soon, GTA fans have to content themselves with Vice City Stories. But these unlockables can add a bit more variety and flavor to the game, by giving you a variety of new weapons, special powers and other assets.
